PRP (platelet rich plasma)

"Vampire Facial"

The cosmetic procedure, which has been nicknamed the 'vampire facial', was made famous by Kim Kardashian. But what is it and how does it work?
The 'proper' name for a vampire facial is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy.

It's essentially a regenerative therapy, which uses nothing but the patient's own blood. The theory is that the platelets and growth factors initiate a healing response which, over time, rejuvenates the skin.
A PRP facial involves taking a sample of blood from your body (usually from your arm), spinning it in a machine to separate the plasma and the red blood cells, and then injecting or microblading the concentrated plasma, which is rich in platelets back into your face, neck or decoltee.
Because stem cells or PRP are magical for skin regeneration - they encourage healing and replenishing - they can be used for everything from improving the appearance of scars and stretch marks to reducing the wrinkles or acne.
The treatment will leave you with increased collagen levels, smoother, fuller skin, and improved skin health, with reduced appearance of pigmentation, scars and fine lines.
So why not give it a try?!
